THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION - WE NEED PROJECT MANAGER FROM HEALTH CARE DOMAIN ONLY The Project Manager will act as a liaison between the BHA and the contracted vendor to implement the Learning Management System that is in development. The Project Manager provides specialized expertise in internal and external communications to effectively communicate complex technical data and regulatory information in a manner that is easily understood by partners. This role will support the larger BHA Workforce Development team in project management, contract management, and drafting statements of work. They will lead communication with partners and messaging and coordination to ensure alignment with the greater BHA strategic plan. This position will support the BHAs Workforce Development team with additional special projects upon request. Primary Duties Include Operationalize Workforce Development Strategic Plan Supports Program leadership by standardizing and managing a process that enables iterative progress toward the strategic vision. Ensures Project Teams are aligned with regard to communication, planning, dependencies, and documentation. Solicits feedback from Project Teams on ideas for improvement and increased efficiency. Ensure compliance to the terms of the projects scope and statute. Support the BHAs Workforce Development team with additional special projects upon request. Project Management, Monitoring & Rollout Lead vendor management (with support from Workforce Development Director) including agreements, statement of work drafting, planning, timelines, and quality of deliverables. Develop, oversee and facilitate project planning and implementation activities for the overall coordination, scheduling, planning, monitoring, and reporting for the Learning Management System. Create and maintain deployment and transition plans. Manages training efforts including resources, schedules, faculty database, and documentation. Determine and create the content of status reports for the BHA Workforce Development team, troubleshoot problem areas, and deliver overall progress reports. Keep Program Leads informed of vendor status, issues, and risks to maintain awareness and identify potential financial, legal, or resource impacts to the project. Develop, recommend, and streamline processes to increase efficiency, and achieve cost avoidance. Stakeholder Management Acts as a single point of contact for Learning Management requests and inquiries from the University of Colorado project team, the BHA staff, and external stakeholders. Manage BHA Workforce Development intake process with stakeholders and track requests for content development. Communicate to leadership (change in levels of granularity) Determine who should be involved in vital project plan meetings and coordinate project-related activities for cross-functional teams. Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to develop, and appropriately execute change management strategies, including stakeholder analysis, communication plans, and resistance plans. Develop best practices, training, templates, and tools as well as other resources. Education and Experience Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree. Substitution: Additional, relevant, paid or unpaid experience can substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis. Experience: 5 or more years of Project Management 3 or more years of Contracts Management 3 or more years of meeting facilitation Experience with Vendor coordination Experience in Agile Organization and/or Health IT environment Familiarity with Learning Management and/or Instructional Design Interest or experience with Behavioral Health programming and policies Preferred Qualifications The preferred candidate will exhibit: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication and public speaking skills. Self-motivated and able to effectively manage time and tasks. Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale projects across a complex internal and external business matrix. Knowledge of project management and process improvement methodologies. Ability to solve complex problems, participate in continuous improvement, and adapt to the ideas of others. Ability to work effectively with key stakeholders, speak and write authoritatively and compellingly, resolve communication problems, and negotiate and manage competing interests. Ability to work well with constituents regardless of position and authority, contribute to governing boards and committees, and adhere to clear lines of responsibility and accountability. Knowledge of or familiarity with behavioral health learning and adult learning Ability to speak a second language other than English.
