Position: Data Architect Location EST/ Remote Start date April 01, 2025 We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures in Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and Databricks for healthcare and life sciences applications. This role requires expertise in data modelling, governance, pipeline optimization, and CI/CD integration while ensuring compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate should have experience in healthcare/life sciences commercial data space. Given the sensitivity of data, we prefer US-based candidates. Key Responsibilities Design and develop end-to-end data architectures leveraging Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and SQL. Define and implement data governance, security, and compliance strategies for healthcare data. Architect scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT frameworks, and data integration solutions. Ensure seamless CI/CD deployment for automated and efficient data workflows. Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analytics teams to drive data strategy. Implement data modelling, warehousing, and optimization best practices to enhance performance. Establish best practices for Git-based version control and DevOps integration. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and other healthcare data regulations. Required Qualifications Experience in data architecture, data engineering, or database management. Expertise in Azure Data Services, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and SQL-based architectures. Strong experience in designing scalable, cloud-based data architectures. Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Git-based workflows. Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT development, data modelling, and database performance tuning. Prior experience working with healthcare/life sciences commercial data Strong knowledge of data governance, data security, and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.).
