In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions on the Snowflake cloud data platform. You will collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and analysts to build and optimize data pipelines, data models, and data applications. Responsibilities: Snowflake Development: Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Snowflake. Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures. Implement data modeling and schema design in Snowflake. Create and manage virtual warehouses, databases, schemas, and tables. Develop and maintain data transformations and data quality checks. Implement security best practices and data access controls in Snowflake. Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources into Snowflake. Work with data integration tools and technologies (e.g., Fivetran, Matillion, Talend). Develop and maintain data connectors and APIs. Performance Tuning and Optimization: Optimize Snowflake queries and data models for performance. Monitor Snowflake performance and resource utilization. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and analysts to understand data requirements. Communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively. Participate in code reviews and design discussions.
