The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with RDK-B or RDK-V platforms, strong programming skills, and a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Develop, modify, and maintain RDK-based applications and software. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate, test, and optimize RDK solutions. Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering to design, coding, testing, documentation, and implementation. Provide technical expertise in the diagnosis and resolution of an issue, including the determination and provision of workaround solutions or escalation to service owners. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization. Stay current with the latest RDK community updates and technologies. Lead the debugging and troubleshooting of system issues in production and non-production environments. Document all technical procedures and user guides. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 4-5 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on RDK-B or RDK-V platforms. Proficient in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python. Experience with Linux/Unix environments, software development tools, and source control systems such as Git. Knowledge of IP networking, Wi-Fi, and broadband technologies. Familiarity with video streaming technologies and standards (MPEG-DASH, HLS, etc.). Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
