(10-14 Years of candidate) Skills IT Management Policies and Procedures Strategic Planning Service Operations System Requirements Job Details Great opportunity for a IT Service Operations Lead - Contract to hire, The Client IT Service Operations Lead will be responsible for providing the day-to-day management of the client services team, assisting the Chief Information Officer (CIO) with strategic planning for the direction of the IT department, and managing applications, telephony, and PC support. Tasks The Client Service Operations Lead will perform the following tasks: Day-to-day management of the client services team, including the Help Desk and Application Teams. Escalate help desk tickets assigned to the Client Services staff and manage the activities associated with closing the escalated tickets. Project coordination with users and IT staff. Assist the CIO with strategic planning. Monitor, measure, and report on the progress of work orders. Oversee work order completion assigned to staff members. Overall responsibility for help desk activities. Responsible for the completion of projects. Duties related to the Business Analyst's role, as required. Act as liaison between customers, vendors, and IT leadership. Review, negotiate and make recommendations for contracts and other agreements. Collaboratively define system requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines. Make recommendations for technology solutions, systems, and resources. Align the client services team with the departmental mission, vision, and values. Accomplish information technology staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, coaching, counseling, and directing employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures. Maintain the organization's effectiveness and efficiency by assisting the CIO in defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies. Direct technology research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects. Complete projects by coordinating resources and timetables with the project management office (PMO) and Infrastructure Leads. Verify application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented. Manage assets by implementing best practices, inventory, policy, procedures, and information security and control structures. Recommend information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes, identifying problems, evaluating trends, and anticipating requirements. Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements, assisting CIO in preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective action.
