About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) Consultant to manage and optimize our SAP Solution Manager environment. As a Solution Manager consultant, you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP Solution Manager (SolMan), supporting the entire SAP landscape. This role is critical in ensuring that our SAP systems are running efficiently and effectively, supporting project implementations, upgrades, and ongoing system health.

Key Responsibilities:

SAP Solution Manager Implementation and Configuration
: Implement, configure, and maintain SAP Solution Manager across different SAP landscapes (ECC, S/4HANA, etc.), ensuring alignment with business processes and best practices.

Support and Troubleshooting
: Provide ongoing support for SAP Solution Manager, troubleshooting issues related to system monitoring, job management, change management, and application lifecycle management.

Project Support
: Support project implementations and upgrades by configuring Solution Manager for project management, including project preparation, solution documentation, and test management.

Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
: Oversee the complete lifecycle of SAP solutions, including monitoring and managing the implementation of updates, enhancements, and support packs.

System Monitoring & Administration
: Administer the Solution Manager system, ensuring that it is actively monitoring all SAP systems, systems are up-to-date, and performance metrics are maintained.

Change Management
: Use the Solution Manager Change Request Management (ChaRM) tool to streamline and automate change control processes.

Solution Documentation
: Facilitate the creation and maintenance of solution documentation, including Business Blueprint, functional specifications, and configuration documentation.

User Training & Support
: Provide training to end-users on Solution Manager functionality and best practices. Offer ongoing support and guidance to ensure smooth adoption and usage of the system.

Integration with Other SAP Modules
: Ensure that SAP Solution Manager is effectively integrated with other SAP solutions, such as SAP Service Desk, SAP ChaRM, and SAP ITSM (IT Service Management).

Reporting & Analytics
: Leverage the capabilities of Solution Manager for generating reports and conducting system health checks, SAP change reports, incident management, and project progress.

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams
: Work closely with the technical and functional teams to align Solution Manager functionality with the needs of business operations.

Required Qualifications:

Education
: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.

Experience
:

4+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Solution Manager implementation, configuration, and administration.

Experience in managing the full SAP lifecycle through Solution Manager, including project implementations, upgrades, and system maintenance.

Familiarity with SAP ChaRM, SAP ITSM, and SAP Service Desk.

Experience with SAP Solution Manager in environments using SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and other SAP systems.

Technical Skills
:

Strong knowledge of SAP Solution Manager features, including Incident Management, Change Request Management (ChaRM), Test Management, and Business Process Monitoring.

Hands-on experience with configuration and administration of Solution Manager.

Knowledge of SAP ITSM processes and integration with SAP Solution Manager.

Basic understanding of SAP Basis concepts (for example, system monitoring, job scheduling, and performance tuning).

Proficiency in using Solution Manager for SAP support, patching, and upgrade management.

Soft Skills
:

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
