Job Description.:- SAP S4 HANA Enterprise Management Finance Cost Management Location: Indianapolis, IN Onsite From Day 1 Position: Long Term Exp.: 12+ Years Responsibilities: We are seeking an experienced SAP S4HANA Finance Cost Management Consultant to join our team. This role focuses on providing expert-level support, design, configuration, and implementation of Cost Management, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), and Management Accounting (CO modules) in SAP S4HANA. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to deliver scalable, efficient, and business-aligned financial cost management solutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead or support the end-to-end implementation of SAP S4HANA Finance - Cost Management functionalities. Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional design and technical solutions in S4HANA Controlling (CO) including: Cost Element Accounting Cost Center Accounting Internal Orders Product Costing (Discrete, Process, Repetitive) Profitability Analysis (CO-PA) Account-Based and Costing-Based Activity-Based Costing (ABC) Configure and maintain CO master data, allocations, settlements, cost object controlling, and reporting structures. Collaborate with Finance, Production, and Supply Chain teams to optimize cost management processes and integrations. Design and implement management reporting and analytics using embedded SAP Fiori apps and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) if needed. Support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes integrated into SAP. Act as SME for product costing impacts on inventory valuation, material ledger, and actual costing. Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT). Provide end-user training, documentation, and post-go-live support. Drive continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance cost control, accuracy, and reporting capabilities. Support change management and stakeholder communications throughout the project lifecycle. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field. Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP CO module (ECC or S/4HANA) with at least 2 full-cycle S/4HANA implementation. Strong knowledge of S/4HANA Universal Journal (ACDOCA), Margin Analysis (new CO-PA), and Material Ledger functionalities. Proficiency in SAP Product Costing (CO-PC) processes including standard cost calculation, actual costing, and variance analysis. Experience in cost center planning, internal orders, overhead allocation, and assessments. Knowledge of SAP Fiori apps, CDS views, and reporting tools is an advantage. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Professional certifications such as SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting or Management Accounting. Experience in SAP Central Finance (CFin). Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Group Reporting, and other S/4HANA embedded reporting tools. Knowledge of Agile/SAFe methodology and Solution Manager (SolMan). Collaborate with business users, data analysts, and other IT teams to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and deliver solutions that meet business needs. Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective financial solutions. Serve as the Change Management Process Owner and act as a liaison with the Quality and Delivery team for the implementation of changes. Manage incidents and defects, coordinating with relevant parties (customers, development team, management) to ensure timely resolution of issues and defects. Identify opportunities to streamline and automate financial processes. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial IT professional with a proven track record in business finance & Change Control procedure to join our team.
