The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping our data strategy, ensuring robust data pipelines, and enhancing overall data efficiency. This role requires hands-on experience in cloud platforms, data modeling, ETL/ELT, and big data technologies. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure data architectures. Lead the implementation of Python-based data engineering solutions, optimizing ETL/ELT workflows. Define data governance, security, and compliance standards. Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and metadata frameworks. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to enable seamless data access and insights. Work with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) to manage large-scale data processing. Optimize database performance, indexing strategies, and query tuning. Implement data streaming, batch processing, and real-time analytics solutions. Develop and enforce best practices for data engineering and architecture. Required Skills & Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related fields. Strong Python programming skills with experience in data processing libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, PySpark). Expertise in SQL and database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server). Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and data pipeline orchestration (e.g., Apache Airflow, Prefect, Luigi). Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Databricks). Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB). Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery), and OLAP/OLTP systems. Knowledge of data security, compliance (GDPR, CCPA), and governance best practices. Experience in API development and data integration with RESTful services. Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Machine Learning (ML) pipelines and MLOps. Hands-on experience with Graph Databases (Neo4j, ArangoDB).
