Job Title Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with TPF Duration 12 months/contract Location Hybrid Role (Atlanta, GA) Job Description Industry Background: Airlines background USC/GC/GCEAD/H4 LOCALS Required Qualifications: 2-3 years of experience in Information Technology with a focus on test automation for both UI and API layers. Proficiency in writing and maintaining automated tests using Java, JavaScript, C#, Python with tools like Selenium, Cypress, REST Assured, etc. Strong hands-on experience with OOP languages (Java, C#) and scripting languages (Python, Perl, , Bash). Expertise in API and Microservices testing and automation. Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) using frameworks like Cucumber or JBehave. Proficiency in querying languages such as SQL, Oracle, MySQL, or NoSQL databases (Cassandra, MongoDB). Experience deploying applications in AWS or OpenShift (Kubernetes). Skilled in automating backend REST services with tools like Postman, REST Assured, Karate, Cypress, or Ready API. Capability to build test automation frameworks from scratch using modular frameworks and design patterns like Page Object Model (POM). Experience working in distributed agile teams using frameworks like SCRUM, SAFe, or XP. Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, and version control systems like GitLab, GitHub, or AWS CodeCommit. Ability to create and maintain automation test jobs and generate test reports using tools like Cucumber Report or Extent Report. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge and experience in the travel industry. Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools like Docker, Chef, Puppet, or Terraform. Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, CloudFormation, and AWS CodePipeline. Proficiency in service virtualization tools like WireMock or Mockito. Familiarity with test management tools like VersionOne or qTest. Experience with non-functional testing (performance, load, stress, security, accessibility, usability). Knowledge of container orchestration tools like Docker, Red Hat OpenShift, or AWS CloudFormation. Responsibilities: Design, develop, execute, and maintain software to test products and applications. Define and implement automation strategies, test cases, and tools for unit, functional, and performance testing. Participate in design and code inspections to ensure quality.
