This role offers the opportunity to build a modern, high-performance lending platform that will replace and streamline several internal systems while creating new business opportunities. You will be working with a global team based in Montreal and New York, and the platform itself is a web application that communicates with various backend microservices. As a Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality features and solutions in an agile environment. You will create reusable, self-contained modules and components, ensuring the frontend user experience is seamless and integrates well with the backend services and databases. Responsibilities: Work within an agile squad to develop and deliver features that enhance and improve the ISG Lending platform. Design and create reusable, self-contained, and testable modules and components. Gain a thorough understanding of the platform, frontend user experience, backend services, databases, and other system components to deliver optimal results. Collaborate with business stakeholders to manage the development teams work intake and ensure alignment with business needs. Required Skills and Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in building web-based applications using Angular 12+, Typescript, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML. Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns. Experience integrating web applications with RESTful APIs. Familiarity with modern development environments such as IntelliJ or VS Code. Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to engage with clients and stakeholders. Desired Skills: Knowledge of OOP Java 8+ or .Net for developing RESTful microservices. Experience with relational databases and SQL. Familiarity with WinForms is a plus.
