Local preferred Duration: 6+ Months Key Required Skills: Building modern mobile applications that seamlessly integrate with legacy COBOL and Java backend systems while utilizing the latest technologies such as Swift, Flutter, Kotlin, Vue 3, and React Native. Position Description: Develop & Maintain Mobile Applications: o Design and develop native iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI. o Develop native Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. Backend Integration with Legacy Systems: o Integrate mobile apps with existing COBOL-based and Java-based backend systems o Design API gateways to expose COBOL and Java services to modern mobile platforms. Cross-Platform Mobile Development: o Write reusable, clean, and modular code for React Native and Flutter to ensure efficient development of cross-platform mobile apps. o Work with native modules when necessary for integrating mobile-specific features not available in cross-platform libraries Collaborate with UI/UX Designers o Work with UI/UX teams to implement intuitive and responsive designs that meet user requirements and align with mobile platform guidelines. o Ensure the UI responsiveness and consistency across both iOS and Android devices Optimize Mobile Applications: o Use performance profiling tools (Xcode Instruments, Android Profiler) to identify and fix bottlenecks in both native and cross-platform apps. (Required Skills) These skills will help you succeed in this position: Experience with at least 2 of the 5 skills: o Swift o Kotlin o Flutter o React Native o Vue 3 (Desired Skills) Experience with Swift/SwiftUI, Xcode, CocoaPods, and iOS frameworks (UIKit, CoreData, etc.). Experience with App Store deployment and maintaining apps via App Store Connect. Experience with Android Studio, Gradle, and Firebase. Experience in developing cross-platform mobile apps using Flutter and Dart. Experience with Redux for state management and React Navigation for navigation within mobile apps.
