Please have a look at the below job description, if interested please share your updated resume [email protected] Role: Systems Administrator (Microsoft) Location: Tallahassee, FL(Onsite)(Preferred Locals) Duration: Long Term Note: Must have 12+ years of Experience Job Description Scope of Services: The Office of Information Technology (OIT) is seeking a Systems Administrator to assist in the oversight, management, troubleshooting, and execution of cloud services and platforms to support infrastructure, applications, data, and business needs. The duties of this role include user access management, file archiving, security oversight, and system monitoring. The administrator will be responsible for Microsoft 365 environments, cloud identity platforms, and a multi-cloud environment. The role also involves server administration, network configuration, and performance monitoring.Education: Bachelors Degree or technical institute degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.Experience: 2-3 years of experience with Windows Server (2012 R2, 2016, 2019, 2022). 2-3 years of IIS Administration. 2-3 years of experience with network communications (TCP/IP, DNS, Samba/CIFS file sharing, NTFS permissions). 2-3 years of experience with Microsoft Azure cloud systems (preferred). 2-3 years of experience with AWS or GCP cloud platforms (preferred). 2-3 years of professional experience in Microsoft software administration (preferred). 3-5 years of IT work experience in infrastructure/network environments in systems operations, support, maintenance, and administration. 3-5 years of experience with middleware technologies such as API Management, IT Service Automation tools, and batch job services (preferred). 5-8 years of professional experience in information systems engineering or related fields.Primary Job Duties/Tasks: Support and expand infrastructure. Configure and administer servers in coordination with multiple parties (SDC, contractors). Recommend and assist with future server and software upgrades. Monitor systems and applications for security, availability, and performance. Establish and manage network performance, policies, and firewalls. Troubleshoot system and application issues; escalate to vendors as needed. Develop and manage relationships in a matrixed environment. Optimize solutions for better performance, cost, and efficiency. Create and manage Azure DevOps projects, Git repositories, and pipelines. Configure Azure DevOps organizational settings. Deploy and manage Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Power Platform, and Microsoft 365 services. Provide support for other IT staff, including developers. Perform other duties as assigned.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs): Strong analytical skills for assessing and addressing organizational needs. Ability to set priorities and develop strategies to achieve goals. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Ability to automate administrative tasks. Experience with Linux administration (Red Hat and Ubuntu) and patching. Knowledge of IT infrastructure, application development, and security best practices.
