As a Python Lead, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of Python developers, while also contributing to the design, development, and implementation of complex Python-based applications. You will play a key role in driving technical excellence and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. Responsibilities: Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of Python developers. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback. Guide the team in technical decision-making and best practices. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain Python applications using various frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI). Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices. Work with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and other data stores. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Implement unit and integration tests. Architecture and Design: Contribute to the design and architecture of software systems. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools. Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Project Management: Estimate project timelines and resources. Track project progress and identify potential roadblocks. Communicate project status to stakeholders. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, QA engineers, and DevOps. Communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively. Participate in agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban). Qualifications: Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of professional experience in Python development. Proven experience leading and mentoring a team of developers. Strong proficiency in Python and related frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI). Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices. Experience with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB). Strong understanding of software design principles and patterns.
