Technical Business Analyst Las Vegas, NV (Local only Implementation-Photon Responsibilities: Gather and document detailed business requirements for analytics projects, including data definitions, reporting needs, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Conduct thorough needs assessments, including interviews, workshops, and data analysis. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and challenges. Translate business requirements into clear, concise, and testable user stories and acceptance criteria. Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to define data models, data pipelines, and analytical methodologies. Create and maintain detailed documentation, including data dictionaries, process flows, and system design documents. Participate in agile development sprints, providing ongoing support and clarification to the development team. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to define and execute testing plans. Ensure that delivered solutions meet the defined business requirements and quality standards. Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Prepare and present data-driven reports and dashboards to stakeholders. Monitor and analyze the performance of analytics solutions and identify areas for improvement. Keep abreast of the latest advancements in data analytics, data warehousing, and business intelligence technologies. Research and evaluate new tools and technologies that can enhance the company's data capabilities. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field. Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong focus on analytics and data-related projects. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of data warehousing principles, data modeling, and ETL processes. Experience on Google Analytics and Segment. Familiarity with SQL and other data query languages. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Knowledge of agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban). Experience with data governance and data quality best practices (preferred).
