Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer Location: San Jose, CA (Remote) Duration: 6 months Work Authorization: GC/USC/H4EAD/GCEAD MOI: Skype JOB DESCRIPTION: Must have: Experience in managing Enterprise Grade Kubernetes cluster (RH Open Shift preferred) & Anthos. Experience working with Public Cloud offerings (AWS, GCP) Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes, Dockers, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, GitOps, Git, Linux Software development lifecycle includes design, development, testing, packaging, deployment using Python or Golang Preferred: Kubernetes, Open Shift experience or certification Nice to have/Plus skills: Agile software development practices, JIRA Work with geographically distributed teams Understand IT processes, including architecture, design, implementation, and operations Self-motivated, able, and willing to help where help is needed Able to build and establish relationships, be culturally sensitive, have goal alignment and learning agility Have a knack for always finding automation opportunities within the team Leveraging SRE mechanisms to reduce toil and maintain SLO for the Cloud Platform. Will be on-call and follow SRE Incident management and maintain SLOs (Service Level Objectives). Also, will manage, build, and run fully automated pipelines through our Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) system to deliver operational capabilities and improvements.
