The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IBM MQ development, administration, and integration. They will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining messaging solutions that ensure reliable and secure communication between various applications and systems. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement IBM MQ messaging solutions. Configure and manage IBM MQ components, including queues, topics, channels, and listeners. Troubleshoot and resolve messaging issues to ensure high availability and reliability. Implement security measures for IBM MQ, including authentication, authorization, and encryption. Work closely with application developers to integrate IBM MQ with other enterprise applications. Monitor and optimize the performance of messaging environments. Create and maintain technical documentation related to IBM MQ infrastructure and processes. Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams to deploy and manage IBM MQ in cloud and hybrid environments. Ensure compliance with enterprise IT standards and best practices. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in IBM MQ development and administration. Strong understanding of messaging middleware concepts and patterns. Hands-on experience with IBM MQ configuration, clustering, and high-availability setups. Proficiency in scripting and automation using , Python, or Power. Experience with integrating IBM MQ with Java, .NET, or other programming languages. Knowledge of security protocols and best practices in messaging environments. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team. Preferred Qualifications: IBM MQ Certification. Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging technologies. Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
