Key Responsibilities Software Development & Deployment : Design, implement, and maintain the software development and deployment process. CI/CD & Automation : Work with CI/CD processes and tools like CircleCI, Azure DevOps, or similar deployment automation platforms. Cloud Infrastructure : Manage and monitor cloud-based infrastructure to ensure optimal performance. Drupal Development : Develop modules and themes, build responsive web designs, and implement advanced theming techniques. Work with frontend frameworks and site-building strategies to deliver high-traffic Drupal-based solutions. Configure and maintain Drupal elements, such as menus, users, blocks, and front-page settings. Manage multilingual content, including translation of Drupal page elements. API & Code Design : Design and develop APIs to support both mobile and desktop users. Write reusable code, build prototypes, and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks. Version Control : Utilize Git for version control, including cloning, branching, merging, and patching. Web Accessibility : Develop and implement accessibility protocols to ensure compliance with accessibility standards for large organizations. Server Administration : Configure and maintain Apache, Tomcat, and Lucee environments. User Assistance : Provide support for end-users to interact effectively with the software and authoring workflows. UX/UI Implementation : Translate UX/UI wireframes and designs into functional user interfaces, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines. Qualifications Required : Proven experience in Drupal development (including theme and module development) with a track record of delivering high-traffic solutions. Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure management and deployment automation tools (e.g., CircleCI, Azure DevOps). Strong knowledge of frontend frameworks, HTML/CSS, Sass, jQuery, and responsive web design techniques. Ability to design robust APIs and integrate them seamlessly with front-end applications. Familiarity with Git version control and workflow. Experience in web accessibility compliance and procedures. 2+ years of experience with Drupal 9 theming. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Desired : Recent experience within government agencies or civic-tech initiatives.
