Summary The company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team of engineers responsible for creating digital products that millions of customers interact with daily. We are seeking experienced backend services developers who can perform hands-on software development, working with REST APIs, batch processes, and reporting jobs using cutting-edge open-source frameworks and cloud-native microservices. Needs: Must have 6-10 years of hands-on JAVA programming experience as a Senior Engineer or a Technical Lead. Must have 3 years of RESTful APIs / Server-side development experience using microservices architecture using Spring boot. Must have 3 years of experience in cloud services (preferable AWS), developing micro-services, CI/CD solution, message queue systems and background task management. Must have 3 years of experience in developing NoSQL and SQL databases, designing data models, proficient in querying data for quality, analysis, analytics and adhoc reporting Knowledge in API security frameworks, token management and user access control including OAuth, JWT, OpenAPI, etc. Experience working with API Gateway, CDNs, API Performance testing, CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools Ability to work in an Agile / SCRUM environment Strong writing and communication skills Duties: Design and develop APIs, write shippable code, create documentation, and implement unit tests for new digital product features. Collaborate with API Developers, Team Leads, and Architects to deliver features by building reusable RESTful APIs. Engage in front-end design, development, and integration. Work closely with Quality, Product, and Cloud Engineering teams to ensure digital assets remain fully functional, secure, and aligned with business needs. Participate in pair programming, effectively communicate ideas within the team, support systems integration, conduct performance testing, and assist in product releases. Implement policies, roles, data access controls, and monitoring mechanisms while resolving system and data issues to ensure API continuity.
