The position is expected to be approximately 9 months or longer assignment. Hybrid remote and onsite at the Port offices in downtown Long Beach. Open to US s, card holders, and -b visa holders. Education, Experience and Skills 1. Bachelors degree 2. 5+ years of experience as a SQL Server 2016 to 2022 DBA and Developer, technical troubleshooting, and root cause analysis. 3. Proficiency in SQL and T-SQL 4. Experienced with creating and modifying SQL databases 5. Experienced writing complex queries 6. Experienced with testing and troubleshooting SQL based applications and integrations 7. Experienced creating technical documentation 8. Experience in Always On High Availability Groups implementation 9. Experience in Disaster Recovery implementation 10. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power BI, SSRS, and SSIS 11. Proficiency in Python, ASP.Net, C#, JavaScript, jQuery, and Power 12. Demonstrated experience working in a team environment 13. Experience working with software vendors 14. Effective verbal and written skills. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Design, Create, implement and maintain SQL Databases based on end user requirements 2. Ensure database performance, reliability and stability 3. Create reports using SSRS and other tools 4. Create data integration using SSIS 5. Create data presentations using Power BI and SSAS 6. Create simple SharePoint applications 7.
