This position involves playing a key role as an Oracle database architect and developer, with responsibilities spanning database design, development, and troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities: Analyze and design database objects and data collection systems, transforming legislative requirements into system functionality. Perform data modeling for database structures. Engage in software development tasks, including Oracle PL/SQL coding, testing, and implementation. Troubleshoot issues in the application to identify and implement solutions. Prepare both technical and user documentation for system components. Required Skills and Experience: Experience in interpreting physical database models with expertise in relational database concepts (indexes, primary/foreign keys, and constraints) using Oracle. Experience in developing using Oracle PL/SQL, including database packages, procedures, functions, and triggers. Experience working with Oracle version 11g or later. Experience using Oracle programming tools such as SQLPlus, SQLLoader, or other database programming tools. Experience in designing relational databases. Experience using at least two of the following techniques in Oracle PL/SQL: dynamic SQL, FORALL and BULK COLLECT, SYS_REFCURSOR, SYS_CONTEXT, and PL/SQL logging. Experience in integrating multiple database schemas. Additional Requirements: Location: This is a Hybrid position in Albany, NY. Local candidates are preferred. Duration: 12-month contract with possible extension.
