The Performance Tester will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing performance tests to ensure the stability, scalability, and responsiveness of our applications. This role requires a strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and tools. Responsibilities: Test Planning and Design: Develop and maintain performance test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Analyze system requirements and design performance test scenarios. Identify performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement. Define performance metrics and KPIs. Test Execution and Analysis: Execute performance tests, including load, stress, and endurance tests. Monitor system performance during testing and analyze results. Identify and document performance defects and issues. Generate performance test reports and provide recommendations. Tool Proficiency: Utilize performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or similar. Configure and maintain test environments. Develop and maintain test scripts and automation frameworks. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders. Communicate performance test results and recommendations effectively. Participate in performance tuning and optimization efforts. Performance Monitoring: Monitor application and system performance in production and pre-production environments. Setup and maintain monitoring tools. Analyze monitoring data to identify performance trends. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
