UID: 023cc2f2e2924974ae59f9b628f9e5df Job Title: Sr. Azure Cloud Engineer (Infrastructure) Job Location: Lake Mary, FL/ Pittsburgh, PA (3 days - onsite) Job Type: Fulltime/Contract Experience: Need 12+ Years of Exp mandatory - Locals Only Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer with expertise in Azure and Windows/Linux system administration to manage and optimize Azure environments. The ideal candidate will have experience with NetApp clusters, VMware, BCP/DR strategies, patching, database administrator, vulnerability remediation, and database administration. This role requires hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, system upgrades, and ensuring the stability, security, and performance of enterprise systems. Key Responsibilities: Manage and optimize Azure cloud environments, ensuring high availability and performance. Administer Windows/Linux systems, including OS upgrades (Windows 2016 2019). Perform NetApp cluster rebuilds and optimizations to enhance storage efficiency and reliability. Manage VMware/Venter environments, ensuring virtual infrastructure stability and performance. Implement Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions for critical infrastructure. Conduct system patching and vulnerability remediation to maintain security compliance. Support database administration for cloud and on-premises databases, ensuring performance and integrity. Troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams for resolution. Required Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering with a strong focus on Azure. Expertise in Windows and Linux administration, including OS patching and upgrades. Hands-on experience with NetApp clusters, including rebuilds and optimization. Proficiency in VMware/Venter for virtualization management. Strong knowledge of BCP/DR planning and implementation. Experience in vulnerability remediation and security best practices. Familiarity with database administration (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or other cloud-based DBs). Scripting experience (Power, Bash, Python) for automation is a plus. Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, or similar) are preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in large-scale cloud migrations and hybrid cloud environments. Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, ARM Templates, Ansible).
