This is a long-term opportunity. The opportunity requires the candidate to be able to work in a HYBRID fashion, with work on-site required 2-3 days/per week. The State Client Asset Management Division is seeking a senior technical Project Manager to manage and deliver a complex IT project(s) with multiple teams and work streams coordinated to an aggressive delivery schedule. Must have 15+ Years of Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, Project Server). 8+ Years of Experience managing Large Projects and a Bachelors Degree. 8+ Years of Experience in IT Infrastructure delivery (networking, physical plant, vendor management, site provisioning). 8+ Years of Experience in managing large, multi-stream projects. 5+ Years of Experience in both Agile and Waterfall Project Management. 5+ Years of Agile Scrum Master Certification. 3+ Years of PMP Certification from PMI. Job Responsibilities Leading the team through the Commonwealth Standard for Project Management for successfully completing the project phases: PreSelect, Initiation, Planning, Execution and Control, and Closeout. Serve as a hands-on technical project manager with development staff and business groups. Coordinate and communicate with ITD management and staff to coordinate work tasks and resourcing. Communicate timelines and expectations to technical and business staff. Collaborate with vendors, consultants, and contractors in the execution of projects including contract management and working with the procurement office(s). Adhere to the Client and Client's project management practices and governance requirements; coordinate with Client and VITA (Virginia Information Technologies Agency) Project Management Offices. Maintain project budget, plans, tasks, schedules, risks, and status and disseminates information to team members and customers as defined in the communications plan. Ensure documentation of requirements and uses cases, and facilitate design workshops for assigned project. Ensure definition of test objectives, designed test plans, and test cases for assigned projects. Provide the management of project milestones and deliverables for on-time and on-budget delivery. Define, measure, and clearly communicate progress with metrics. Support system and application training efforts. Preferred: PMP Certification from PMI Agile Scrum Master Certification Strong Experience and Working Knowledge of MS Office Products.
