Job Description -Junior EDI System Engineer/ Admin/Owner or Application SpecialistLocation - Columbia SC Must be local to Columbia SC  Must have linkedin. Education Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field OR
4 years of job-related work experience OR
2 years of job-related work experience plus an associates degree in a related fieldWork Experience
4 years of technical experience in systems analysis, design, programming, or other IT-related workWork Schedule & Onsite Requirement
Onsite role (no remote option)
Team Name: EDI Interoperability Standards (FHIR Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources)
Core Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (some off-hours and weekend work may be required)Required Technical Skills
Healthcare Electronic Data Exchange (EDI) and Interoperability Standards
EDI Interoperability Standards: HL7, X12, FHIR
Experience with Linux/Unix-based systems (installing & configuring EDI COTS products in healthcare)
Agile/Scrum Project Management
Scripting experience: Windows Batch, Power, Linux Scripting, Python
Managing & remediating security findings
AWS Cloud experience is a plusNice-to-Have Skills
Deep expertise in Healthcare EDI & Interoperability Standards
Hands-on experience developing EDI Interoperability Standards (HL7, X12, FHIR)
Experience in Product Ownership & Customization of EDI COTS products
Ability to install and maintain EDI COTS products in healthcare
Strong communication skills to interact with customers, gather requirements, present solutions, and lead Proof of Concepts (PoCs)
Adaptability to evolving technologies and standards
Experience with Agile/Scrum project managementDay-to-Day Responsibilities
Install & configure EDI COTS products in healthcare
Administer & manage EDI COTS product configurations
Collaborate with industry partners to develop EDI Standards (FHIR)
Work with teams and stakeholders to implement PoCs showcasing FHIR interoperability use cases
Participate in and lead Scrum meetingsNot Looking For
