UID: d5aa0ec9ffc0464495e42575718f8937 Position: DevOps Engineer Location: New York City (Hybrid: 3 days a week onsite, Local candidates preferred) Job Type: Full-Time Visa: Any visa We are looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to join our team! If you have a strong background in SRE, DevOps, Platform Engineering, and are passionate about working with tools like Kubernetes, Docker, and Python/Java, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: - Work closely with development architects, clients, and business analysts to build efficient solutions leveraging the right technology stack. - Develop services and utilities based on Python/Java. - Design and code robust solutions with a focus on fast deployment pipelines. - Create tooling to enhance developer experience and collaborate with teams to understand their needs for system improvements. - Be in sync with the tools and processes available firmwide to ensure smooth operations. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. 5+ years of hands-on application development experience. 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering roles. Strong knowledge in Python, JavaScript, RESTful WebServices, and Ansible. Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and other container orchestration tools. Solid knowledge of RDBMS (preferably MSSQL/PostgreSQL). Familiarity with Observability stack (Prometheus, Loki, Jaeger, Grafana). Experience with Kafka. Strong communicator with the ability to interface directly with clients and business analysts to align technical requirements and deliverables. Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience in the development of service-oriented architecture applications and knowledge of Object-Oriented Design and Design Patterns. Comfortable working in a Unix environment with web servers like Apache and Tomcat. Desired Technical Skills: Knowledge of GIT, Jenkins, and Sonar. Experience with Cypress, Fortify, and other standard code coverage/testing tools. Automation testing knowledge with tools like JUnit/Mockito, Maven/Gradle.
