Retail Background Heavily Preferred Position Summary : We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Program Manager to lead our enterprise-wide SAP S/4HANA transformation program. This role is critical to the success of our digital core modernization strategy, overseeing planning, execution, and delivery of the multi-year ERP upgrade from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA. Key Responsibilities: Lead the overall SAP S/4HANA transformation program across business and IT, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, timelines, and budget. Develop and maintain the integrated program roadmap, working with business stakeholders, SAP architects, SI partners, and internal teams. Establish governance structures including steering committee updates, risk/issue management, and executive reporting. Coordinate cross-functional teams spanning finance, supply chain, merchandising, HR, and IT to drive process transformation and system adoption. Manage system integrators and external vendors, including contract oversight, deliverables tracking, and performance management. Identify and mitigate program risks, dependencies, and interlocks with adjacent programs. Support change management, training, and business readiness activities in partnership with internal communications and training teams. Champion agile and/or hybrid delivery methods depending on workstream needs. Qualifications: 10+ years of progressive experience in program or portfolio management, with at least 5 years in SAP ERP transformation initiatives. Proven experience delivering large-scale SAP S/4HANA migrations or greenfield implementations in a retail, consumer goods, or manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of core SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, WM/EWM, PP, etc.) and how they interact in an enterprise landscape. Experience managing third-party systems integrators, onshore/offshore teams, and working within a structured PMO environment. Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to influence senior leaders and lead cross-functional teams. PMP, PgMP, or SAFe certification a plus. Preferred : Familiarity with retail operations and related business processes. Experience integrating SAP with modern cloud platforms and retail systems.
