Job Description - Title -Senior Solution Architect Visa: Citizen Only Description of the Position: The candidate will be a guide member of the imaging team which is responsible for developing the shared services and development code generators that are used by the client for bringing in significant. List of the day to day tasks to be performed by the Selected Candidate: The candidate will assist in maintaining and modernizing our e-MPIRE imaging platforms. This system is responsible for processing different programs that bring in billions of dollars in revenue. Its solution allows the client to facilitate better decision-making, provide increased productivity for employees, improve public access, and reduce the risk of falling victim to outdated technology. The candidate will be part of the imaging team that is responsible for developing the shared services and development code generators that are used by all Departments which are responsible for bringing in significant revenue to the client. The candidate must be experienced in multi-tier architecture design and implementations with the ability to participate in all phases of the software development life cycle (requirement gathering, design, implementation, testing, and production support). On a daily basis, the candidate will be assisting with modernization and in finding alternative options/solutions for existing e-MPIRE imaging systems such as Content Manager OnDemand. The candidate will assist in various technologies such as AIX Scripting and DB2 on UNIX platform and perform Root Cause Analysis using quality tools. The candidate will also assist with Change Management: prepare an Implementation plan, backout and test plan for various changes, and risk and impact analysis for those changes. Required Skills 84 months experience with government organization which includes business knowledge, technical design, development, maintenance, and end user support of complete Business-Related Processing 84 months of experience in UNIX and AIX OS with usage of Scripting and CRON TAB. 48 months of experience of IBM Content Manager On Demand application including IBM Content Manager OnDemand Administrator and Client 84 months of experience in performance tuning applications interacting with DB2 Databases.
