The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of applicable experience and will work on modifying existing software, designing and developing new software systems, and performing testing and validation procedures. This position requires the candidate to have experience in both software development and customer problem-solving. Roles and Responsibilities: Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt it to new hardware, upgrade interfaces, and improve performance. Design and develop software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of design. Consult with engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, develop specifications and performance requirements, and resolve customer problems. Advise customers on or perform maintenance of software systems. Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures. Collaborate with teams to enhance software platform functionality and ensure smooth operations. Must Have Technical Skills: Java Backend Programming (Minimum 10 years of experience required) Kubernetes CI/CD Pipeline DevOps Additional Requirements: Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving abilities, customer service, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Deep knowledge of the full software development lifecycle, from business/systems analysis to development, testing, and delivery. Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issues. Knowledge of development software like SQL, Java, J2EE, etc. Summary: The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for writing programs to maintain and control computer systems software for operating systems, networked systems, and database systems. This includes creating the software platform, then fine-tuning the final program after it has been developed.
