You will review and enhance existing network designs to ensure continuous improvement and upgrades. This is a critical role for our team to manage and optimize network infrastructure. Typical Duties (In order of importance): Design and implement deployments which adhere to company architecture, best practices, and standard methodologies. Review existing network designs to continually improve and upgrade network infrastructure. Provide support for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving network-related issues. Monitor network performance and implement strategies to improve system reliability and efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and document network infrastructure projects. Required Skills & Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in network engineering. Strong understanding of network design, architecture, and implementation. Expertise in network troubleshooting, performance tuning, and issue resolution. Familiarity with network security, firewalls, and VPN technologies. Strong communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and clients. Local to Chicago, IL with availability to work onsite as required.
