UID: 779a9380a3f24cdc9ee988e63c0c5def Position: iOS Developer Location: Mechanicsburg, PA 17050 Duration: 12+ Months Visa: Local candidates preferred, or candidates with state client experience Job Description: PennDOT is seeking an experienced iOS Developer with expertise in SwiftUI, Swift, Objective C, XCUI, UI Kit, and iOS Software Development Kits (SDKs). The ideal candidate will have strong experience in developing and testing iOS applications for the enterprise, working with modern UI frameworks, and building robust, scalable applications. This role will require the ability to write clean and efficient code, automate testing using XCUI, deploy apps to public and private App Stores, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities: Develop, test, and deploy iOS applications for enterprise use. Work with SwiftUI, Swift, Objective C, and XCUI to design and build robust applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless user experiences. Automate testing using XCUI and deploy applications to the App Store. Handle iOS Framework development, including distribution and dependency management using Swift Package Manager and/or Cocoa Pods. Integrate applications with other services using REST web services. Contribute to continuous integration and DevOps workflows with tools like Azure DevOps. Provide expertise in AuthN and AuthZ using OAuth 2.0 and identity providers like Azure AD or Okta. Required Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of experience with iOS development. Strong proficiency in Objective C, Swift, SwiftUI, and iOS SDK. Experience in full iOS SDLC as an application developer. Expertise with the latest iOS APIs, Core Data framework, and iOS Auto Layout. Hands-on experience with blocks and notifications. Familiarity with DevOps tools, particularly Azure DevOps. Experience with OAuth 2.0 protocols and AuthN/AuthZ. Experience in integrating iOS apps with REST web services. Strong communication skills (both verbal and written). Experience with App Store app release process (including automation via Jenkins and the Xcode toolchain). Experience with Web Technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Angular, ReactJS, React Native) is a plus. Location & Notes: Currently remote with possibility of one day a month in the office.
