Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Senior Lead DataStage Developer to join our team in Miami, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing ETL processes using DataStage. You will be heavily involved in client-facing consulting, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions while maintaining strong data integrity and quality. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in DataStage, SQL, PL/SQL, and job scheduling tools, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities: ETL Development & Maintenance: Design, develop, and maintain ETL jobs using DataStage, ensuring alignment with project requirements. Develop new DataStage jobs to load data into the data warehouse, and optimize existing jobs for improved performance. Ensure the accuracy and performance of DataStage jobs through thorough testing and optimization. Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot job failures, perform root cause analysis, and resolve issues promptly. Monitor job execution and address any issues that arise during processing. Collaboration & Support: Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and refine existing ETL jobs. Work closely with development teams to ensure all DataStage jobs adhere to company standards and best practices. Provide support for ongoing data loads and issue resolution in production environments. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear and accurate documentation for all developed jobs, including designs, enhancements, and troubleshooting procedures. Assist project leaders with project timeframes, objectives, and deliverables. Required Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Professional Experience: 5+ years of experience in DataStage development and administration. Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as DataStage, Informatica, Ab Initio, or Oracle ETL. Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming. Experience with job scheduling tools (e.g., Autosys). Knowledge of Snowflake is a plus. Skills & Competencies: Strong expertise in DataStage design, deployment, and optimization. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
