Job Title: Senior NetSuite Inventory Management Consultant Location: Boston, MA (Remote) Job Type: Contract with Extension (Long Term) Experience: 8+ Years Industry: ERP Consulting, Supply Chain, eCommerce, Manufacturing Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior NetSuite Inventory Management Consultant with deep expertise in inventory optimization, EDI integrations, Boomi, and business process alignment. This role will work closely with business users, technology teams, and external vendors to implement, enhance, and optimize NetSuite inventory management solutions in complex environments. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of multi-location inventory, demand planning, fulfillment processes, and third-party integrations. Key Responsibilities: NetSuite Inventory Management & Optimization: Lead inventory management solution design and implementation within NetSuite ERP. Configure and customize NetSuite Advanced Inventory Management, Item Fulfillment, Order Management, and Multi-Location Inventory features. Work with business stakeholders to optimize inventory controls, cycle counting, lot/serial tracking, and warehouse management processes. Implement demand planning, replenishment strategies, and fulfillment automation. Integration & EDI Implementation: Lead end-to-end integrations between NetSuite and third-party systems, including WMS, 3PL, eCommerce platforms, and supply chain partners. Design, develop, and support EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) transactions for order fulfillment, invoicing, shipping notifications, and vendor communication. Work with middleware solutions like Dell Boomi to streamline data flows between NetSuite and external applications. Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies and integration failures in a timely manner. Business Process Alignment & Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business users, operations teams, and finance departments to translate requirements into scalable NetSuite solutions. Conduct workshops, training sessions, and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) to ensure successful deployment. Develop best practices, SOPs, and documentation for ongoing inventory management and system maintenance. Support post-go-live enhancements and system optimizations based on user feedback. Skills & Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in NetSuite ERP, with a focus on inventory management and supply chain processes. Strong expertise in NetSuite Advanced Inventory, Order Management, and Fulfillment. Experience with EDI transactions, including 850, 856, 810, and 940/945. Hands-on experience with Dell Boomi or other integration tools (Celigo, MuleSoft, etc.). Deep understanding of multi-channel fulfillment, demand planning, and 3PL integrations. Proficiency in SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and saved searches for process automation. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot integration and data sync issues. Excellent communication skills to work with technical teams and business users. Experience with eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce) and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: NetSuite ERP Consultant Certification or NetSuite Administrator Certification. Previous experience in retail, eCommerce, distribution, or manufacturing industries. Exposure to RFID, barcode scanning, or automated warehouse technologies. Knowledge of SQL, REST/SOAP APIs, and NetSuite SuiteCloud Platform.
