Job role Power BI SQL Developer Location Kansas City (Onsite) H1B only Key Responsibilities: Mandatory Areas Power BI 12+ Years SQL- 12+ Years BI-12+ Years ETL-12+ Years SQL Server -12+ Years We are looking for Power BI and SQL Developer with experience in / exposure to Finance Experience with complex financial models (Forecast, Accounts payable, Contract/Agreement for labor, LOE and invoice) Looking for a skilled and highly motivated Power BI and SQL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in creating interactive Power BI reports and dashboards, along with strong SQL skills to handle data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL). We will have to work closely with business stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and provide actionable insights through data visualization and analysis. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards to support business operations. Write efficient and optimized SQL queries for extracting, transforming, and loading data from different sources into SQL databases. Perform data analysis and collaborate with business users to define reporting requirements and business KPIs. Build and maintain complex SQL queries for business reporting and data analysis purposes. Integrate various data sources with Power BI (e.g., SQL Server, Excel, Cloud sources). Work with teams to gather requirements, define data models, and create data visualizations that align with business objectives. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and performance of reports and dashboards. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports and SQL database queries. Optimize performance of Power BI reports and SQL queries for large datasets. Maintain and enhance existing BI solutions as required. Provide technical support and training for Power BI users across the organization. Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in Power BI, SQL, and BI technologies. REQUIRED SKILLS Proven experience as a Power BI Developer with a strong portfolio of dashboards and reports. Strong experience with SQL Proficient in Power BI features such as DAX, Power Query, Power BI Service, and Power BI Gateway. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with version control and deployment of Power BI reports. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact with business users to gather reporting requirements.
