As an Android Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain software applications for mobile phones, smartphones, tablets, and other mobile devices. You will be responsible for managing the full software development life cycle, including testing, implementation, and auditing. This role involves working closely with the Product Development team to gather requirements, suggest solutions, and ensure the application meets client needs. Youll also research and suggest new mobile products and technologies to enhance the user experience. Primary Responsibilities: Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release, and support). Produce fully functional mobile applications by writing clean, efficient code. Gather specific requirements from stakeholders and suggest technical solutions. Write unit and UI tests to ensure code quality and identify malfunctions. Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance. Design user interfaces that improve user experience and usability. Collaborate with the Product Development team to plan and implement new features. Ensure that both new and legacy applications meet quality standards. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in mobile development. Qualifications: Proven work experience as a Mobile Developer. A demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the Google Play Store (Android). In-depth knowledge of programming languages, particularly Java for Android development. Experience working with third-party libraries and APIs. Strong understanding of mobile development best practices and user experience design. Experience in developing unit tests and UI tests for mobile applications. Ability to troubleshoot and optimize the performance of mobile apps. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
