This role requires expertise in designing and developing scalable, cloud-native services on AWS. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in application development, enterprise integration, and database design. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement highly available, cloud-native services and applications on AWS. Apply expertise in AWS Well-Architected Framework to ensure best practices. Develop backend domain services such as Pricing, Inventory, and Order Services. Design and integrate APIs (REST, GraphQL, SOAP) and manage enterprise application integrations (Kafka, pub/sub). Ensure that solutions align with enterprise policies, industry standards, and security best practices. Evaluate and advocate for new technologies that meet business and IT needs. Required Skills & Experience: Strong Technical Expertise: Proficiency in backend services, APIs, and cloud-native architectures. SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration): Knowledge required, but no hands-on configuration needed. PostgreSQL Expertise: Hands-on experience with database design and management. AWS Cloud Platform: Deep knowledge of AWS services and tools. Event-Driven Architecture & Business Knowledge: Ability to design solutions that handle events effectively. Nice-to-Have Skills: Familiarity with SAP S/4 and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), including integration, connectivity, and monitoring. Understanding of SAP Sales and Distribution modules (Order Management, Pricing, and Invoice Management). Education: Bachelors or Technical degree in related field or equivalent experience Overview: The core focus of this role is to establish a sustainable technical architecture. The Functional solution architect is responsible for designing one or more end-to-end solutions, products, or business/IT services. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional business and technical teams. The individual should possess a balanced mix of technical expertise and strong business acumen, working alongside an enterprise architect for strategic direction. The solution architect leads the overall technical vision for a particular platform (across all modules) or solutions to deliver a business product or service. They make technical decisions regarding solutions and understand how technology design impacts business outcomes. Development or infrastructure teams use this information to implement solutions that meet business objectives. The individual should exhibit strong leadership and behavior competencies. Responsibilities: Develop solution design, support development teams, and ensure successful implementation of business APIs (e.g., pricing, order capture, Invoice Management, etc.), integrating with SAP S4 and other business application. Develop a solution that is easily consumable by multiple channels (Web/Mobile/Chat) Develop architectures and solution blueprints that address functional-specific requirements, data models, system integration, and user interfaces adhering to enterprise standards and guidelines. Provide technical guidance to development teams during solution implementation, ensuring alignment with the architecture. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business needs. Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
