You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure that enhances vehicle connectivity and overall driver experience. Cloud Architecture Design: Develop and design GCP-based cloud architecture to support connected automotive software, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability. Implementation and Deployment: Lead the implementation and deployment of cloud solutions, leveraging GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, and BigQuery. IoT and Connected Devices: Design and implement solutions that integrate IoT devices and connected vehicle systems with GCP cloud infrastructure. Develop strategies to manage and process data from IoT sensors and connected devices. Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to align cloud architecture with business requirements and technical goals. Automotive Domain Expertise: Apply your knowledge of the automotive industry and connected automotive software to enhance the design and deployment of cloud solutions tailored to automotive applications. Security and Compliance: Ensure that cloud solutions meet industry standards for security, data privacy, and compliance. Implement best practices for securing cloud infrastructure and data. Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of cloud solutions. Implement strategies to enhance system performance and resource utilization. Innovation: Stay up to date with the latest GCP services, tools, and best practices. Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance our connected automotive software capabilities. Documentation and Training: Create comprehensive documentation for cloud architecture, processes, and procedures. Provide training and support to internal teams as needed. Qualifications: Education and Years of Experience: 5+ years experience GCP Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred Required and Desired Skills/Certifications: Proven experience as a Cloud Architect with a strong focus on GCP. Experience in the automotive industry and familiarity with connected automotive software is highly desirable. Technical Skills: Proficiency in GCP services, including but not limited to Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and IAM. Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, microservices, and containerization. Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Deployment Manager. Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards in the cloud. Expertise in IoT and connected device integration. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication and collaboration abilities, and a proactive approach to innovation and continuous improvement.
