Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Threat Analyst who will leverage their expertise in cyber threat intelligence to gather, analyze, and report on cyber threats and risks facing businesses, governments, and other organizations globally. In this role, the candidate will conduct in-depth research, provide intelligence reports on cyber defense, technology, threat actors, and geopolitical conditions, and collaborate with both industry specialists and internal teams. This position requires strong technical knowledge and the ability to clearly communicate complex cybersecurity topics to both technical and executive stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Cyber Threat Intelligence & Analysis:

Regularly identify, assess, and report on significant cyber threats posed by threat actors and groups from global regions.

Research and analyze cyber-threat actors, groups, and events to identify tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), behaviors, motivations, sponsorship, and influencing factors.

Develop and produce strategic intelligence reports focused on complex geopolitical events, evolving cybersecurity threats, trends, and impacts.

Vulnerability Management & Remediation:

Stay up-to-date with emerging zero-day vulnerabilities, provide in-depth reports on vulnerabilities, and offer mitigation and remediation strategies.

Intelligence Reporting & Presentations:

Develop and produce tactical and operational intelligence reports on fraud events, security threats, and industry-level cybersecurity trends.

Create concise intelligence briefings for both tactical and executive audiences, ensuring clear communication of risks, impact, likelihood, and mitigation strategies.

Engage with clients, executives, and stakeholders to present intelligence findings in a non-technical, yet accurate and actionable manner.

Collaboration & Team Engagement:

Collaborate with internal teams, cybersecurity specialists, and external partners to develop actionable intelligence and improve security measures.

Work with vendors, consortiums, and law enforcement partners to gather data and contribute to intelligence development.

Cybersecurity Support:

Provide ongoing support to cybersecurity teams during security incidents, offering intelligence to inform response processes and decision-making.

Analyze internal risk and security controls to identify weaknesses and gaps in threat mitigation strategies.

Threat Intelligence Development & Maintenance:

Maintain and continuously evaluate cyber threat intelligence sources to ensure timely and actionable threat assessments.

Consolidate multiple cyber threat intelligence feeds and sources to enhance overall threat intelligence capabilities.

Respond to client requests for information (RFIs) and contribute to the drafting and production of company-wide threat assessments.

Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand intelligence requirements and feedback on deliverables.

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

5+ years of experience in identifying, analyzing, and reporting significant cyber threats and risks to businesses, governments, and other organizations from global cyber threat actors.

3+ years of experience researching and analyzing cyber-threat actors, groups, and events, focusing on tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), behaviors, motivations, and sponsorship.

Expertise in zero-day vulnerabilities and writing detailed reports on vulnerabilities, including mitigations and remediations.

Strong ability to develop both tactical and strategic intelligence reports, including identifying and addressing cybersecurity threats and trends.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear and concise briefings for both technical and executive audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong understanding of threat intelligence tools and platforms.

Experience working with vendors, law enforcement, and industry consortiums to gather intelligence.

Proven track record in collaborating effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information:

This is a hybrid role based in Dallas, TX.
