UID: 5d437a9781534003810a1e4b2d1a64bc Role: Sr Test Automation Engineer Location: Irving, TX (Onsite Day-1) Locals Only Visa: H1B Interview Process: Face-to-Face Interview Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced Sr Test Automation Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team. As part of the team, you will be responsible for building APIs, performing database operations, and testing back-end and front-end systems. Your work will have a direct impact on the development of new features and enhancing the companys revenue-generating digital products. Key Responsibilities: Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents. Develop and maintain automated test suites to minimize regressive behavior. Identify test data in multiple databases by writing complex queries (MSSQL, PLSQL, DB2, NOSQL). Perform system testing, regression testing, negative testing, component-level testing, boundary testing, and smoke testing. Develop detailed test plans and test cases. Test user interfaces (UI) for validation against backend systems and databases. Write and execute automation scripts for mobile (iOS/Android) using Appium. Perform API testing using tools like Postman and automated testing frameworks. Integrate test automation into existing CI/CD pipelines with GIT, branches, merges, and build systems. Qualifications: Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Test Automation Architecture. Experience with Appium, Selenium WebDriver, Xcode, Android Studio for mobile automation. Proficiency in API Automation (RESTful APIs, Postman). Proficiency in programming languages like JavaScript, Java, C#. Experience writing automation scripts for mobile (iOS/Android). Strong knowledge of JMeter and Selenium WebDriver 3.0 for automation and load testing. Experience working with AWS (Lambda, Step functions, CloudWatch). Familiarity with relational databases (MSSQL, PLSQL) and NoSQL databases for backend testing. Experience with proxy debugging tools (e.g., Charles, Developer Tools). Hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (GIT), and build systems. Proficiency in JIRA and Agile/Scrum environments. Desired Skills: 5+ years of experience in API Automation. 5+ years of experience in Mobile & Web Automation (Appium). 5+ years of experience with JavaScript and Object-oriented Programming. Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Relevant technical/cloud certifications would be a plus. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Ability to work independently with little or no supervision. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong sense of ownership and a bias for action. Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
