UID: 55f28cae2a0f47a4a36c0555cae21d69 Job Title: Senior Drupal Developer Location: Woodlawn, MD (On-site, 5 days a week) Duration: 6+ Months Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Job Description: We are seeking a Senior Drupal Developer to work on-site in Woodlawn, MD for a project requiring high-level Drupal development, PHP, and Agile Development expertise. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SOA/Microservice architecture, content management systems, and web development using Drupal and PHP. You will be responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing next-generation web applications, with a focus on Drupal and WordPress, and custom API development. Key Responsibilities: Architect, Design, and Develop: Architect, design, develop, and implement next-generation web applications using Drupal, WordPress, and custom API development. Web Development: Build and maintain enterprise websites using Drupal, with an emphasis on creating responsive UIs. Content Management Systems: Work with Content Management Systems (Drupal, WordPress), including experience with Drupal hosting solutions like Acquia. Development Technologies: Utilize modern PHP frameworks (Drupal, Laravel, Symfony, Zend) and front-end technologies (HTML, JavaScript, Typescript, React, Angular). API Development & Monitoring: Build APIs and integrate with monitoring tools like Swagger, Ready API, and Dynatrace. Agile Development: Work in an Agile environment, following best practices for unit testing, TDD, BDD, and DevOps practices. Required Qualifications: Experience: 10+ years of combined experience with Drupal, PHP, web development, and building responsive UIs with modern front-end technologies. Experience with Content Management Systems like Drupal and WordPress. Solid understanding of modern PHP frameworks (Drupal, Laravel, Symfony, Zend) and relational databases (PostgreSQL, DB2, Oracle). Experience with automated unit testing, TDD, BDD, and tools like PHPUnit, Behat, Cucumber, and Selenium. Experience with API development, and familiarity with monitoring tools (Ready API, Swagger, Splunk, Dynatrace). Strong background in front-end technologies: HTML, JavaScript, Typescript, JQuery, and CSS. Experience with DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, SonarQube). Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field (Master's or Doctorate degree may substitute for required experience). Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Desired Qualifications: Experience with AWS cloud technologies or other cloud platforms and AWS certifications. Familiarity with CI/CD practices to accelerate quality releases to production. Experience integrating advanced search capabilities (e.g., AWS Kendra). Basic understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns.
