W2 Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead our quality assurance initiatives and develop a robust test automation framework. The ideal candidate will combine strong development expertise with a deep understanding of QA methodologies. With hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing, you will drive the evolution of our QA processes, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Key Responsibilities: Design & Develop Automation Frameworks: Architect and implement scalable test automation frameworks using Java and/or Python. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable deployment cycles. Testing Expertise: Conduct functional, API, and manual testing across different platforms. Utilize automation and API testing tools effectively; additional experience in performance and security testing is a plus. QA Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire QA lifecycle from test planning to execution and reporting. Adapt existing frameworks and enhance future capabilities to meet evolving business needs. Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into comprehensive test cases. Lead and mentor QA team members, promoting best practices and continuous improvement in testing processes. Cloud & CI/CD Integration: Leverage cloud technologies (preferably AWS) to build and manage testing environments. Implement and maintain CI/CD frameworks to ensure seamless integration and delivery. Required Qualifications: Technical Skills: Proficient in Java and/or Python with a solid foundation in programming and software development. Demonstrated expertise with automation tools and API testing platforms. QA & Testing Experience: Thorough understanding of the QA lifecycle and methodologies for both manual and automated testing. Proven experience integrating testing into CI/CD frameworks. Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to dissect complex business requirements and develop effective test strategies. Cloud Knowledge: Experience with cloud environments; AWS experience is highly preferred. Leadership: Prior experience in leading QA initiatives and managing test automation projects. Preferred Qualifications: Exposure to performance and security testing methodologies. Familiarity with agile development practices. Experience in mentoring and leading small to mid-sized QA teams.
