UID: 52efa505c0a248d4944808c599215008 Salesforce Platform Engineer Location: IL, USA (Onsite Work from Office) Duration: 6 Months Contract-to-Hire Industry: Salesforce Technology Solutions Job Overview: We are seeking a Salesforce Platform Engineer who is a technical expert in designing, implementing, and optimizing Salesforce technology solutions to address critical business needs. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Apex, Triggers, LWC, REST/SOAP integrations, and have a strong understanding of Salesforce administration and development. Key Responsibilities: Salesforce Development & Implementation: Design, implement, and deploy Salesforce technology solutions using OOO features, Apex, Triggers, LWC, and REST/SOAP integrations. Conduct estimation, design and code reviews, identifying system or process gaps, and recommending corrective actions. Build custom applications with Triggers, Apex, LWC, Platform Events, and API integrations. Problem-Solving & Optimization: Analyze and resolve technical issues using analytical problem-solving techniques. Study Salesforce Release Notes and bring insights on new features that can be incorporated into business processes. Conduct POCs (Proof of Concepts), document learnings, and provide cost estimation for execution. Technical Leadership & Best Practices: Develop design models and best practices for vendors and team members to follow. Provide technical leadership, mentoring vendors and junior engineers on Salesforce best practices. Construct technical specifications and design documents. Collaboration & Compliance: Work closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects, and Application Architects for new projects. Maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution. Adhere to corporate GxP compliance, data security policies, and SDLC standards. Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelors Degree in a relevant field + 5 years of experience, OR Masters Degree in a relevant field + 4 years of experience. Salesforce Expertise (Must-Have 5+ Years Experience): Salesforce administration & development. Designing & implementing new processes and facilitating user adoption. Upstream & downstream impact analysis across applications, systems, and processes. Building custom applications (Triggers, Apex, Aura, LWC, SOAP/REST Integration, Flows, Platform Events). Writing SOQL/SOSL & SQL queries with RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, etc.). Certifications (Must-Have): Salesforce.com Administrator Certification. Salesforce.com Platform Developer I.
