Financial Data Analyst GL & MDM 6 Months Contract Remote Key Skills: Financial Data Cleansing & Standardization Master Data Management (MDM) Workflows General Ledger (GL) Account Mapping & Reconciliation Journal Entry Processing & Reclassification Profit Center Accounting & Balance Sheet Cleanup SAP & Oracle Financial Systems Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Data Analysis, Multi-Sheet Processing) Financial Workflow Management & Submission Transaction Clearing & Audit Readiness Stakeholder Coordination & Process Optimization JD : This resource would be focused on helping me to complete data cleaning related to various financial areas and would be required for approximately 6 months. Below please find a description of the activities I would like the resource to help complete: Complete workflows for MDM. We are working on standardizing our general ledger accounts and this may include having new accounts set-up, old accounts blocked, attributes on the accounts changed, etcthe resource would not be completing these items, but would need to help submit the workflow so that the MDM team can complete the activities. Ability to review excel mapping files regarding general ledger attributes (open item managed accounts, recon, non-recon, etc..) and work with me to provide required actions to MDM. Completing journal entries we are also working on clearing general ledger accounts down to the profit center and this resource would need to be able to complete the journal entry to clear old balances and reclass the balances to the new general ledger account (these would be in CFIN, but the analysis would be in SAP and Oracle) Proficient in excel and have the capability to complete pivot tables and perform analysis with multiple worksheets. A working knowledge of SAP would be a plus Following up with the various groups to make sure that the activities performed cleared the transactions. There may be other tasks as we go through the data clean-up process, but all would be geared toward the same type of analysis and entry preparation.
