Proven experience in managing users, permissions, system processes, and services on Linux-based systems. Proficient in writing and maintaining Bash or Python scripts for task automation and system management. Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, load balancing, and network troubleshooting in a Linux environment. Skilled in using tools like top, htop, vmstat, and iostat to diagnose and enhance system performance. Experience analyzing system and application logs (journalctl, syslog, dmesg, etc.) for issue resolution. In-depth knowledge of Linux security best practices, including SSH hardening, firewall configuration (iptables, firewalld), and vulnerability patching. Experience using package managers (apt, yum, dnf, etc.) for software installation, updates, and dependency management. 2-3+ years of experience with Docker containerization. 2-3 years of experience with Kubernetes, including managing clusters, deploying/integrating Grafana and Prometheus to a cluster, and building out Helm Charts. 3-5+ years of experience working with cloud platforms, specifically Azure. Hands-on experience with Azure services, including AKS, Blob Storage, Redis, Linkerd, and Azure Egress Proxy. Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Argo CD) to automate deployments in a FedRAMP-compliant manner. 2-3+ years of experience in Unix scripting (Bash/ and/or Power). Proven ability in cloud architecture and system design to solve key business challenges and achieve team goals.
