The role involves data management, source control, testing, documentation, and production support for the Michigan Department of Corrections (DOC). Responsibilities: Modify and document PowerBuilder (v7+) source code. Write complex T-SQL queries for data extraction, migration, and cleansing. Perform data profiling, mapping, validation, and analysis. Use source control (TFS/Azure DevOps, GIT) for version management. Conduct unit testing and support test scenarios with Business Analysts. Provide production support, root cause analysis, and follow change management procedures. Maintain technical documentation (program specs, flow diagrams). Qualifications: Some college in Computer Science, IT, or related field. 5+ years of PowerBuilder development (v7+). 10+ years of T-SQL (Sybase/MS SQL Server) and data management. Experience with source control (TFS/Azure DevOps, GIT). Strong testing, documentation, and production support skills. Willingness to learn and work in a hybrid office. Preferred Skills: Experience in government/state projects. Knowledge of data migration and cleansing. Familiarity with change management processes.
