Job Title: Sr. Java Developer with AWS Glue Location: Remote Duration: Long Term Experience: 14+ Years Required Skills and Qualifications: 14+ years of experience in Java development with a strong focus on software design, architecture, and implementation. In-depth knowledge of AWS Glue and experience with data pipeline development and ETL processes. Proficiency in working with AWS services, such as S3, Redshift, Lambda, Athena, and EC2. Solid experience in designing and developing highly scalable, efficient, and maintainable applications. Strong expertise in SQL, relational databases, and big data technologies. Experience with data transformation, data cleansing, and working with structured/unstructured data. Excellent understanding of distributed systems and cloud-based architectures. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to imize performance in cloud environments. Knowledge of modern software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Skills: Experience with Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, or other big data tools. Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines. AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus. Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
