Please let me know if you are interested in the below position.!! Position : Windows DevOps Engineer/ System Operations Specialist Location : Hybrid(SACRMENTO, CA)- MUST BE LOCAL TO SACRMENTO, CA or within driving distance - No relocation at this time. Duration: 6 months contract Interview: 1st Video and 2nd Onsite Interview1st Video and 2nd Onsite Interview Job Description: We're looking for a Windows DevOps Engineer (or a Build & Release Sorcerer) who can juggle servers, troubleshoot Windows mysteries, and perform IIS magic tricks without breaking a sweat. You ll be the guardian of deployments, the master of batch jobs, and the fearless warrior who dares to merge code across streams. What You ll Be Doing (Besides Googling Error Messages): Playing referee for our CI/CD pipeline, making sure code behaves before it goes to production. Babysitting Windows servers (yes, even the grumpy 2016 versions). Speaking fluent Power while automating all the things. Convincing IIS to cooperate on a daily basis. Managing TFS both on-prem and in Azure (because we like variety). Solving server mysteries that defy logic. Running batch jobs like a time-traveling wizard. Occasionally explaining to non-technical folks why "turning it off and on again" isn t always a solution. What We re Looking For: 5+ years of IT experience (translation: you've seen some things). Windows administration skills that make system crashes fear you. A knack for making IIS do what you want, not what it wants. Scripting skills in Power because clicking buttons is for amateurs. Experience in security triaging (aka keeping the bad guys out). Familiarity with batch schedulers and endpoint virtualization. Bonus XP (Because We Like Overachievers): .NET/C# skills (so you can actually read the code you re deploying). ASP.NET application support (because it s lurking in the background). JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, and CSS (in case you need to debug a rogue semicolon). Docker & Kubernetes knowledge (because containers are trendy).
