UID: 317344f482df446199f77e343f24069e Job Title: Senior Full Stack Developer (AWS/React/Node.js Micro Frontend) Company: Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) Location: Remote (LOCAL FROM VA) Job Type: Contract Job Summary:DBHDS is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer with expertise in AWS, React, and Node.js to design and implement micro frontend applications and APIs. This role is crucial in enhancing business decision-making and streamlining processes across all units in alignment with the agency's enterprise architecture roadmap. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in cloud-based micro frontends, DevOps, automation, and software engineering best practices to ensure high-quality and efficient software delivery. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions. Design and develop AWS micro frontend applications using React, Single-SPA (or similar), and AWS cloud-native services. Implement scalable, resilient backend services using Node.js and AWS serverless technologies. Develop and maintain APIs using AWS API Gateway, Lambda, and other AWS services. Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment and updates. Ensure solution integrity, testing, and quality assurance following industry best practices and security policies. Manage cloud infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, and AWS CodeBuild/Deploy. Apply DevOps principles to improve the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and enhance automation. Implement monitoring, operational stability, and system resilience through stress testing and performance tuning. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and adoption of technology solutions. Required Qualifications: 6+ years of full-stack development experience with expertise in AWS, React, and Node.js. Strong proficiency in micro frontend architectures using Single-SPA or similar frameworks. Deep understanding of AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, Cognito, CloudFormation, and Terraform. Expertise in designing and developing scalable APIs in cloud-native environments. Hands-on experience with serverless computing, event-driven architecture, and containerized applications. Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Ability to write scripts and automate tasks using Node.js, Python, or scripting. Experience in AWS Data Lake Formation, Glue, and Change Data Capture (CDC) strategies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Spring Boot (Java) for backend microservices. Knowledge of GraphQL, WebSockets, or other modern API technologies.
