UID: 8efc96f6c8af43a9ae82f83c4e9c1d4e Job Title: UI/UX + React Developer Location: NYC, NY Salary: [Salary Range or "Competitive"] Job Description As a User Experience Associate, you'll be responsible for project work as well as helping shape the direction of our teams. Working as a valued member of a multidisciplinary design team, you'll be involved in complex projects, and will participate in user research and design planning to respond to feedback. Responsibilities Contribute to design systems such as our pattern library, visual design library, and motion library. Present your work to diverse stakeholders and the broader technology organization. Create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity prototypes using React to demonstrate interactive design concepts. Develop responsive and interactive UI components that align with user needs and business goals. Translate complex user requirements into intuitive and visually appealing designs. Utilize generative and evaluative research methods. Apply user-centric design principles, rapidly testing and iterating on designs. Understanding of how design translates to code. Ability to use prototyping tools to convey design intent. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities on tight deadlines without compromising quality. Understanding of accessibility and the ability to apply that to designs. Open-minded, collaborative, and flexible work style. Comfortable receiving feedback and critiques. Qualifications Exceptional skills with standard UX software such as Figma. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React. Strong understanding of design systems and UI/UX best practices. Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate the value of UX and the rationale behind your research process and design decisions. Experience with accessibility best practices. Preferred Qualifications Experience with generative and evaluative research methods. User-centric design approach with rapid testing and iteration of designs. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
