The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating the efficiency, scalability, and reliability of an Appian-based CMS, ensuring seamless performance across workflows and data integrations. This initiative will replace an outdated system with a secure, automated, and integrated SaaS solution. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute performance testing strategies to validate system efficiency and scalability. Conduct load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing to assess system behavior. Identify performance bottlenecks and collaborate with development teams for resolution. Utilize performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad) to measure system performance metrics. Analyze test results and provide recommendations for performance optimization. Define performance requirements in collaboration with business analysts and developers. Ensure seamless system integration without degradation in performance. Document test cases, procedures, and results in alignment with best practices. Support security testing efforts by assessing vulnerabilities alongside performance evaluations. Mandatory Skills & Experience: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in performance testing, especially with cloud-based SaaS solutions. Hands-on experience with Appian-based applications and their performance testing methodologies. Proficiency in performance testing tools: JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad. Strong knowledge of cloud computing, SaaS environments, and API performance testing. Experience with SQL and database performance tuning. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles. Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to interpret test results. Experience working in an Appian low-code development environment. Desirable Qualifications: Understanding of security compliance frameworks and data encryption standards. Experience with Agile and DevSecOps methodologies. Hands-on experience with monitoring tools: Dynatrace, New Relic, Splunk. Experience in government projects.
