This role requires strong expertise in .NET technologies, SQL Server, and EDI transaction sets (834, 835, 837). The developer will analyze, design, and implement solutions while ensuring compliance with IT standards and best practices. Key Responsibilities: Lead analysis, design, and development of inbound/outbound EDI feeds, including X12 EDI transactions (834, 835, 837) and proprietary vendor feeds. Develop and maintain Microsoft .NET-based backend systems, including console applications, web applications, and MSMQ-based messaging applications. Collaborate with business analysts, customers, and IT teams to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality technical solutions. Provide technical support, including release implementations and 24x7 on-call support as needed. Ensure compliance with IT policies, standards, and security practices. Take on project roles such as Developer, Technical Lead, or Project Manager as required. Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management to report project status and troubleshoot issues. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. 5+ years of experience in .NET software development. Recent experience in the Healthcare or Health Insurance Industry. Strong expertise in .NET Framework, C#, and SQL Server. Experience with MSMQ-based messaging technologies. Proficiency with source control solutions like TFVC or Git. Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field. Experience with enterprise application integration middleware (e.g., Microsoft BizTalk for EDI data brokering). Proficiency in SSIS for data integration/migration and SSRS reporting solutions. Familiarity with X12 EDI transactions (834, 835, 837). Experience developing .NET-based RESTful APIs and web services. Hands-on experience with Angular, React, or other SPA frameworks.
